Land Acknowledgement

Navigation Point® acknowledges that our work takes place on Indigenous lands that
have been cared for since time immemorial.

In the Greater Toronto Area, this includes the traditional territories of the Mississaugas of
the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee, and the Huron‑Wendat Peoples.
Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 and the Williams Treaties.

We recognize Indigenous Peoples as the original stewards of this land and honour their
enduring relationships to land, water, culture, knowledge, and community.

As a creative and reflective practice, Navigation Point® commits to ongoing learning,
respect, and awareness of Indigenous histories, present realities, and futures. We
approach this acknowledgement as a living practice rather than a single statement.

We hold space for reflection on how creativity, care, and community can be practiced
with respect, responsibility, and reciprocity.
